What in the world is “Himfluence”?
Remember when Gabriel told Mary she’d be the one to physically deliver God’s son to the world? Understandably, her first (and only) question was, “HOW?”
Gabriel’s response was, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you.” Because of the Holy Spirit’s supernatural influence, the life of Christ was conceived in and brought forth from that woman.
What God was up to in Mary’s life is exactly what He’s up to in the life of every believer: bringing forth His Son. And it happens in/through us the same way it happened in/through Mary - by the supernatural influence of the Holy Spirit. Himfluence, if you will.
Okay, you won’t find the word “Himfluence” in a dictionary, but you will find the concept all over the New Testament. Consider, for example, Galatians 2:20 - “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.”
The life of faith is all about letting Christ live His life through ours, Himfluencing us and those around us by the powerful provision of His Spirit.
Women of Himfluence exists to equip women with the Word of God for the work of God to the glory of God. A nonprofit organization, Women of Himfluence encourages women of all ages, stages, races, and denominations to make the invisible faith they walk by visible to those they walk with. Retreats and conferences led by Women of Himfluence founder Haven Parrott, are the primary means of carrying out this mission.
Haven is Mike’s wife and Dane (22), Drew (20), Dylan (18) and Dalton’s (13) mom. She’s also a serious student of the Word and an engaging speaker/teacher whose passion is to provide Biblical, practical assistance to women who seek to let Christ live His life through theirs. Haven’s call is to hold forth a scripturally-accurate, mind-blowing, eye-popping, heart-stopping, jaw-dropping, soul-stunning vision of Christ, for she believes that the height of a woman’s vision of Him largely determines the reach of her effectiveness for Him.

Haven loves to break the Bread of Life with women who are hungry for Him; women who understand the effect of their intentionality to live out their lookin’ up is eternally more significant than that of mere influence; women who, by the power and persuasion of the indwelling Spirit of God, are determined to Himfluence their world.
